basically cook some party pies in the oven some other things ive done this with are sausages rolls, chicken nuggets, spring rolls put a little bit of tomato paste(straight from the tin/packet) put some cheese on top back in the oven until cheese is melted and there you go simple yet effective 84
Lunch Box / Re: Need some advice???« Last post by Spaztik Muffin on September 08, 2013, 06:39:15 am »with the spice price i dont really find any difference in quality even if you pay more
for pastas and sauces it all depends what you are putting into them as to what works best tomato based sauces are good with basil generally and cream sauces dont really use herbs, maybe just some bay leaves and chives again it depends on how you are going about it and what you are putting in there home made burger patties are a lot of fun to mess around with if you have good quality mince you can put just salt, pepper, basil, garlic, onion and it will be great if you go the other option you can put the above ingredients as well as tomato sauce, bbq sauce, worcestershire and tobasco sauce the most used spice used in kitchens everywhere is just the plain old salt and peeper. it can really make a huge difference in the flavor a lot in just about anything 85

Lunch Box / whatever sandwhich« Last post by glortonxxx on September 07, 2013, 12:23:30 am »not really a recipe, its just a sandwhich with anything you can find to put on it.
my personal favorite is my creation called the "wtf sandwhich" NEED TO TRY THIS> ONE OF THE BEST FUCKING SANDWHICHES I'V EVER HAD. Ingredients: .peanut butter .mayonaise .melted chedder cheese .plain white bread .cool ranch doritos .and ham and turkey lunch meat directions: get your 2 pieces bready and lay them out. spread peanut butter on 1 side and mayonaise on the other side. put your lunch meat on the bread and put your doritos on. put the two pieces of bread togather. melt some chedder cheese in a bowl so you can dip your sandwhich in it. then enjoy i also have a bunch of other good sandwhiches to make but this one is the best. i call it the wtf sandwhich cause when you eat it your like "what the fuck, thats acually good" lol. aslo just a peanut butter and mayonaise sandwhich is really good. 87

I recently graduated from college, so I have time to cook and stop wasting money on eating out. Unfortunately, my studies in biology, neuroscience, drugs, and so on didn't afford me much culinary experience, and my cooking is as bland as my mother's (I had a sad childhood when it came to home-cooked meals). What would you suggest as "essential" herbs, spices, etc. in a diet heavy on carbohydrates (simple pasta dishes) and periodic meat (mostly hamburgers)? Also, are there any differences between the five dollar containers of seasonings and those fancy expensive 20+ dollar ones (or any in between)? I have researched a little online but really, there is only so much you can find out from people simply telling you to put certain things with specific recipes. They make it seem mechanic instead of conceptual. 89
